Can I self-host a free replacement for SendFox?+
Yes. Of the 5 free alternatives to SendFox, 1 can be self-hosted on your own server or local machine: Mautic (free).
Should I vibe-code or build my own SendFox clone from scratch?+
Our build verdict for SendFox is KINDA (the core, yes. the polish, no). The visible creator email marketing loop is buildable, but a credible replacement needs more than the first screen. SendFox earns its keep through deliverability, reputation, network, so expect a weekend or multi-day build and a narrower personal scope.
